Gurugram, 31st January. Advocate Ramanand Yadav, a candidate contesting for the position of the President in Gurugram District Bar Association, has affirmed his commitment to a modern and a better bar. Emphasizing on honesty and commitment, he stated that it is imperative to always fight to protect the interests of the advocates and he will continue to fight in the future too.
He mentioned that the district court premises lack several essential facilities, causing frequent difficulties for fellow advocates. Ensuring a clean working environment and access to safe drinking water is among my top priorities.
Advocate Yadav stated that a committee of 31 advocates will be formed to enable the Bar Association to fulfill its duties and responsibilities more effectively. The executive committee will be constituted based on the experience and representation of women advocates.
My top priority will be to establish counters for High Court e-filing and facilitate 100% video conferencing in the district court, providing greater opportunities for young advocates to advance in their careers. He further stated that collective efforts will be made to expedite the construction of the Justice Tower. To ensure adequate seating and chambers for a larger number of advocates in Gurugram, a 5.5-acre land allocation will be pursued in coordination with the government and the Building Committee of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The allocation process will also be made transparent and efficiently implemented.
He also stated that given the significant gap in the functioning and relationship between the Bar Association and the Bar Council, it is essential to redefine their collaboration for improved efficiency and cooperation. To address frequent disputes between the Bar and the Bench, a permanent committee of experienced advocates will be formed to thoroughly investigate each issue and present findings to the Honorable High Court in accordance with legal regulations. He assured that he will always stand in support of his fellow advocates. Furthermore, he appealed to the esteemed members and senior former advocates to extend their support in upholding the dignity and honor of the Bar Association.
