Shimla, 6th August. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur released a poetry book ‘Meri Parwaz’ written by eminent educationist, poet and social worker Rashima Thakur here today.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the author for bringing this poetry book and expressed hope that the poetry of this poetic book would touch the hearts of the people and instil a feeling of unity, love and affection in the society.
On this occasion, the author of the book ‘Meri Parwaz’, Rashima Thakur said that she would publish a poetry collection in Hindi as well as in English in the near future. She also thanked the Chief Minister for releasing her book.
Councillors Shimla Municipal Corporation Dr. Kimi Sood and Dr. Rajeev Mehta were also present on this occasion.
