Sri Venkateshwar International School saluting the freedom fighters

New Delhi, 17th August. Sri Venkateshwar International School, Sector 18, Dwarka soaked in the spirit of patriotism and freedom on India’s 75th Independence Day on Sunday.
School Principal Nita Arora unfurled the tricolour saluting the nation and its freedom fighters. In her address to the parents and children through virtual mode she said that one must strive to achieve perfection and excellence in what one does irrelevant to the profession one is in because that is the biggest service to the nation and sets the country on the path of continuous progress. She also urged on the need of teaching gratitude to the children which would help them grow as a responsible citizen with the love for their country in their hearts.
The Principal and the staff present during the celebrations also sang ” Ae mere pyare watan, tuhjpe dil kurbaan”. The students and staff also participated in recording and uploading of national anthem in the singing event ” Rashtragaan” organized under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” a govt initiative to commemorate 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. This Mahotsav will be celebrated as Jan-Utsav in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari.
